Leadership

    • Leads the Employee Engagement team responsible for the policies, processes, and activities related to organization-wide staff development and serves an advisory role with respect to organizational development. It is also responsible for the policies, processes, decisions, and activities related to employment, including recruitment, hiring, on-boarding (orientation), employee relations, and terminations. It also manages the leave and accommodations process.

Provides high levels of problem-solving employee issues and serves as a facilitator of information between employees and HR policies and processes.

Learning & Development

Learning & Development supports the Emerson community through the delivery of various learning events, including new staff Day One Orientation.  The team helps identify opportunities to support and develop our staff, managers, and teams.

HR Administration

    • Provides administrative and programmatic support to the CHRO and the entire Human Resources team by maintaining HR files, coordinating HR activities, and supporting central HR processes.
    • Interim - Manages and supports the effective and legally compliant administration and communication of Emerson College's Leave of Absences.

    • Oversees the HR Website and other communication functions. Provides general office support through booking space, and event planning. Supports the Employment Team in all other areas when needed.
