Enroll Dependents

Follow these steps to enroll a dependent in an applicable health care election during the Change Benefits for Life Event task.

Instructions 

  1. After having your benefit change request for a life event approved by HR, you will receive an inbox task to change your benefits.

  2. Within Health Care Elections, an Enroll Dependents task will be available next to your elected plans eligible for the enrollment of dependents.

  3. Click the Enroll Dependents dropdown to select Existing Dependents or Add My Dependent From Enrollment.

  4. If selecting Existing Dependents, select who will the enrolled dependent will be.

  5. If selecting Add My Dependent From Enrollment:

    1. On the following page, choose whether the dependent will serve as a beneficiary.

    2. Click OK.

    3. Name: Enter information in the required fields as indicated by the asterisk (*).

    4. Allow Duplicate Name: Check only if you will have dependents with the same name.

    5. National ID: Select Add to add in identifying information for the dependent.

      1. Country: Defaults to United States of America, but it is editable.

      2. National ID Type: Select the appropriate ID type.

      3. Identification #: Enter the number for the dependent.

      4. Issued Date or Expiration Date: Fill in if available.

    6. Address: If the dependent’s address is the same as yours, leave all fields as is.

      1. If not, click the X on the address within the Use Existing Address field.

      2. Editable address fields will appear. Modify the required fields with the appropriate information for the dependent.

    7.  Phone & Email: If the dependent’s phone number is the same as yours, leave all fields as is.

      1. If not, click the X on the phone number within the Use Existing Phone.

      2. Editable phone number fields will appear. Modify the required fields with the appropriate information for the dependent.

      3. Click OK.

  6. You will be returned to the Change Benefits If applicable, repeat the above steps for any elected health care plans.

  7. Keep selecting Continue at the bottom of the page, reviewing your other benefits as needed.

  8. Upon reaching the Submit page, review your benefits changes. Check the I agree box toward the bottom of the page, which will serve as your e-signature.

  9. Click Submit.

What Happens Next?

You have now enrolled your dependents in your health care plans.
