Medical Plans

There are no changes to Medical rates for 2023, except for family coverage rates under the 3-tier structure (individual, individual+1 and family).  The 2023 medical rates can be found on the Medical, Dental & Vision Premiums webpage.

Emerson is implementing the CVS90 program with OptumRx for prescriptions. This program will provide a savings to employees using CVS (90 day prescriptions) or OptumRx Mail Order for their maintenance medications.  See the OptumRx Coverage Summary and the OptumRx webpage for more information. We will be offering Zoom information sessions on this prescription change. See Information Sessions section below to sign up.

OptumRX- CVS90 Program Information Sessions

We are holding two (Zoom) information sessions on the new CVS90 program with OptumRx. These sessions will be held on:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 8: 10 to 10:30 am ET
  • Wednesday, Nov. 9: 4 to 4:30 pm ET

We are holding a (Zoom) information session on the High Deductible PPO plan with HSA. This session will be held on:

Special Programs & Discounts for Harvard Pilgrim members

See Special Programs and Discounts for many of the special offerings to those enrolled with Harvard Pilgrim including fitness reimbursement ($150 per family); weight management program reimbursement ($150 per family); free online wellness programs; and many other programs and discounts.

Dental Plans

There are no changes to Dental rates for 2023, except for family coverage rates under the 3-tier structure (individual/individual+1/family). The 2023 medical rates can be found on the Medical, Dental & Vision Premiums webpage.

Emerson is implementing the Right Start 4 Kids program with Delta Dental. This program (added to both the Base and Buy Up Plans) provides 100% coverage (up to the plan maximum) for diagnostic, preventive, basic and major services for children up to their 13th Birthday. For more information on the dental plans, including dental plan summaries, go to the Dental Plan webpage.

Vision Plan

The EyeMed Vision plan continues to be offered to eligible employees in 2023, and there are no changes in rates.  Detailed information about this plan can be found on the Vision Plan webpage, including plan summaries. The vision rates can be found on the Medical, Dental & Vision Premiums webpage.

 

Flexible Spending Accounts

To participate in the Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, active enrollment is required each year. The limit for the Healthcare Flexible Spending Account is $3,050 for 2023; the Dependent Care Spending Account limit remains at $5,000. A Limited Purpose FSA account is available for employees enrolled with the High Deductible PPO Medical Plan. For more information about these accounts, go to the Flexible Spending Accounts webpage.
