EthicsPoint

If you are concerned for your safety, call ECPD at 617-824-8555.  For medical emergencies, call 911.

Emerson College recognizes its obligation to employees and constituents to maintain the highest ethical standards. The College has established an independent hotline, administered by EthicsPoint, for anonymous (should you choose) and confidential reporting of activities that may involve unethical or illegal activities or violations of College policies. All reports will be investigated promptly and discreetly by the College, receiving careful consideration with the objective of addressing any improper conduct or violation of policy.

The College encourages its faculty, staff, and students to attempt to resolve matters through established channels to the best of their ability. The Hotline is meant for reporting issues in situations where you don't feel comfortable speaking with a supervisor or other resources.   The hotline is not a substitute for, nor does it supersede, any existing reporting methods or protocols.

The Hotline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is run by an independent, third-party provider.  There are two ways to report:  toll-free by calling 855-659-7662 or online.

The College will not tolerate retaliation against members of the College community for raising such concerns in good faith. In submitting a report, you may remain anonymous, or you may choose to identify yourself and provide contact information so Emerson can reach out to you directly if additional details are needed. In either case, your report will be confidential to the extent practical. It is not always possible to guarantee absolute confidentiality in all cases. Disclosure within or outside Emerson may be required by law or may be necessary to enforce College policies.  However, disclosure, if any, will only be made to those persons with a legitimate need to know the information.

See EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.

EthicsPoint is NOT a 911 or Emergency Service: Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local authorities.
