Following six months of disability, eligible staff and faculty receive a monthly income of 60% of their base salary, up to the insurance certificate maximum. The duration of coverage is based on the age at disability. In addition, the retirement contribution is continued for those employees enrolled in the Matching Retirement plan.
Eligible staff and faculty are eligible for this benefit after 6 months of service.
This benefit is administered by Lincoln Financial, and paid for by Emerson College.
