Workday Learning is your go-to platform for accessing training and development opportunities. Whether you’re completing required courses, exploring new skills, or tracking your progress, Workday makes it easy to manage your learning journey all in one place.

Accessing Workday Learning

  1. Log in to Workday.
  2. Select Menu
  3. Select Learning

Navigating the Learning Home Page

The Learning Home page gives you a personalized overview:

  • Required For You: Required or recommended courses from your manager or HR.*
  • Browse Topics: Explore learning by topic. 
  • Continue Learning: Pick up where you left off.*

*NOTE: Some items only display if something has been assigned as required or you've begun content.

Exploring the "My Learning" Page

The My Learning page helps you manage your personal learning activity. On this page, you’ll find:

  • Required For You: Required or recommended courses from your manager or HR.*
  • Browse Topics: Explore learning by topic.
  • Learning Paths: A way to organize content you would like to complete.*
  • Saved for Later: Individual content items you’ve saved to do later.*
  • Learning History: Your transcript of learning content. It will display 'Not Started', 'In Progress', or 'Completed'.

*NOTE: Some items only display if something has been assigned as required or you've begun content.

Discovering Content in the "Discover" Page

Use the Discover page to search for learning content.

Browse Topics

The Topics are broad categories to help organize content.

  • Click on Browse Topics.
  • Select a topic to explore.
  • Only content that has been assigned to the topic will appear in the results.

Explore Learning Catalog

This allows you to search the entire learning catalog. 

  • Click on Browse Learning.
  • Content appears alphabetically.
  • Use the filters to find the content you are looking for.

LRN: prompt

This is the simplest way to search for learning content and can be done from any page in Workday! (Remembering lrn: as the prompt will be the tough part!).

  1. Type lrn: in the search bar and then enter what you want to search for.
  2. Select something from the list or click View More.

Content In Workday Learning

The Talent Development team will continue adding content to the platform and some topics may not yet be populated.
